Preparing leaders to perform under scrutiny —
on camera, on the record, and on stage.

I prepare C-suite executives, senior leaders, physician-scientists, and spokespersons to interact with media, investor, analyst, regulatory, and internal audiences during interviews, Fireside Chats, presentations and panels — and for the Q&A that determines whether the performance is a win or not.

My specialty is high-stakes events, such as, CNBC appearances, Investor & R&D Days, finance road shows, and critical company events including Global Town Halls and Customer Summits.

Media Strategy & Skills

My goal is to further the leader’s understanding of how the media really work and to enable them to use every question posed during an interview as an opportunity to establish positive points about their area of expertise.

We convert the key messages into their voice as a story that will resonate for the end user: the viewer, listener or reader with a focus on Quotable Quotes.

We anticipate the topics that might arise and prepare succinct responses to hone the leader’s ability to proactively navigate Q&A.

Core to the work is finessing the techniques that keep them in control of the message, such as Blocking, Bridging & Foreshadowing, so every answer pivots back to their story in the most credible manner.

Simulated interview settings provide the opportunity to pressure test those skills and benefit from rigorous feedback on message delivery, demeanor, and overall effectiveness.

Speaker Readiness

We shape the leader’s preparation process to find the most efficient and effective way to prepare for an upcoming event across a range of settings — from a podium presentation to a scripted teleprompter venue to a tabletop flip-chart meeting.

This repeatable preparation process is meant to become a mindset the leader deploys for every engagement, whether it’s a small team meeting or a large industry event.

We simulate an upcoming event and focus on:

Anticipate the Audience

Deliver what the room expects.

Map the Story

Organize the narrative into ‘big beats’ that structure the pace and tonality of the delivery.

Master the Q&A

Navigate the difficult questions that follow or are part of the presentation.

Use Support Materials

Deploy slides and props to help, rather than hinder.

Regulatory Engagements

More than one Advisory Committee meeting has been lost due to inadequate preparation for the inevitable questions that follow the presentation. I make sure that doesn’t happen. To ensure well-executed presentations and the ability to manage Q&A for an FDA or EMA Advisory Committee or other regulatory encounters, a scenario-driven approach anticipates the issues the committee may raise and the outcomes it may reach.

Story Flow Narrative

Facilitating a Message Mapping session that builds consensus on the key messages before the meeting.

Sponsor Speaker Readiness

Ensuring a persuasive delivery with Advance Mock Panels to rehearse the real thing.

Q&A Pressure Testing

Simulating the regulatory setting so every likely question is anticipated and addressed with clarity and conviction.

KOL Readiness

Preparing Key Opinion Leaders as presenters, mock panelists, or for the media interviews around the meeting.
